Renegades drop two

"Pete Gray, war-time player, one-armed Major Leaguer"
Top Headline: One of our best, Mike Rizzo may be out for a bit after re-injuring his elbow. Unfortunately we didn't have a bench player and he had to bat one additional time--basically "swinging" the bat with one arm with great difficulty, and no chance. Our emergency sub  Angelo didn't meet the age requirements, even after we snuck him in against Morning Wood.

Story: We hung in but lost 9-6 and 7-5, mostly a team defense flawed effort. I lasted 2 plus innings with a bad back, no command and hardly any strikes. Dewey came in and mowed them down, staying in to start Game 2 before yielding to Carl and his crazy ball. Mike McDonald and Shane went back to back in Game Two as well--Shane finding his grove today. On the positive defensive end, we turned three 6-4-3 double plays and one 6-3, Doug stepping on second and completing the double play with a throw to Roly.

Enjoy the week off boys-two weeks to obsess/mull over the stats.
