This Isn't Soccer

So game one sucked. We lost 11-4 and I don't remember ever feeling like we were in it. The highlight of the game was the season debut of Angelo, who held it down in right field and came in swinging from the right side of the batter's box.

Game Two was an epic tie, with Tim and their pitcher each spinning absolute gems and us rallying to it with two outs in the seventh. We fought valiantly with only nine guys, and discovered that Dewey can pretty much play any position on the field.

Reflecting on the games, I discovered the problem.

Not enough gaucho.

  1. In game 1 we were in it until the umpire didn't hear the kid say that he missed third on the appeal that would have ended the rough inning .
